How Pixels Union collects, uses, and protects information from players in the United States.

Last updated: January 1, 2026

1. Overview

Pixels Union ("Pixels Union," "we," "us," or "our") operates pixelsunion.com (the "Site") and the skill games available on it (the "Games"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site or play the Games, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Who this applies to

The Site is intended for players who are 18 years of age or older and located in the United States, including Michigan. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we've collected information from a user under 18, we will delete it promptly.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide directly

  • Contact form submissions: your name, email address, selected topic, and message content.
  • Any information you voluntarily include when emailing or calling us.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and browser type, operating system, and screen size.
  • Approximate location derived from IP address (typically city/region level).
  • Pages visited, games played, session length, and general interaction data (for example, high scores or level reached, stored locally in your browser).
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Policy for details.

Game progress such as high scores and streaks is stored locally in your browser (via localStorage) and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly share it with us.

4. How we use information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and the Games.
  • To respond to messages sent through the contact form or by email/phone.
  • To understand aggregate usage patterns (for example, which games are most played).
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use any information we collect to run wagering, gambling, or prize-based mechanics of any kind — the Games are free, skill-based entertainment only.

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with:

  • Service providers who help us run the Site (for example, hosting providers), under confidentiality obligations.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
  • A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain data practices. Michigan does not currently have a comprehensive state privacy statute, but we apply these choices to all U.S. users on a good-faith basis. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@pixelsunion.com.

  • You can clear locally stored game data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for pixelsunion.com.
  • You can manage cookie preferences through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
  • You can ask us to delete any contact-form message history associated with your email address.

7. Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data retention

We retain contact-form messages for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and document the inquiry, then delete or anonymize them. Locally stored game data remains on your device until you clear it.

9. Children's privacy

The Site is restricted to users 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
